How to make simple Egg Mayo Sandwich

John Montagu the 4th Earl of Sandwich was an English aristocrat that loves to gamble. While gambling, he never had the time to eat food with spoon and folk. It is said that he always asked his valet to prepare meat tucked between two pieces of bread. He liked that food because it allows him to gamble continuosly. From here, the word "Sandwich" started to be known. And sandwich is a food that has evolved into many different versions where there might be like tuna sandwich, etc. Sandwich is a food that is suitable for people who are busy with their daily life. So, here are the ways to make Egg Mayo Sandwich.

Egg Mayo Snadwich


Ingredients:

3 Eggs
2 slice of white bread
Mayonnaise
1/2 Lettuce
1 Tomato
1 Cucumber

Direction:

1) Boil the 3 eggs for half an hour.
2) After the eggs are boiled, put the eggs on another medium like plate and let it cool down for 4-8 minutes.
3) Peel or remove the skin of the eggs.
4) Mash the eggs using the "Potato Masher".
5) Put 3-4 spoon of mayonnaise to the egg that was mashed and stir and mix it. It becomes egg mayo
6) Put 2-3 spoon of the egg-mayo on the slice of the white bread.
7) Cut the lettuce into small pieces.
8) Cut the tomato into few slices.
9) Cut the cucumber into few slices.
10) Put the small pieces of lettuce, 2 slice of tomato, 2- 4 slice of cucumber on the bread filled with egg mayo.
11) Take another slice of white bread and put it on top of the bread filled with egg mayo, etc.

It is a well accepted fact that the modern day lifestyle does not have mercy on man (woman included) time which causes him to eat fast food like sandwiches and burger to get the necessary calories. As such it could be noted that the ingredients above does not provide a well balance nutrition since the proportion of egg is greater compared to other items in the recipe.

    1. I would recommend you to buy eggs which are 'Grade A' from any shopping centre. It doesn't matter whether it is from Giant or Tesco or whatever as long as it is 'Grade A' eggs.

    1. For bread, bothare fine. If you are a person who are health-centered, then I suggest you to take wheat bread, but if you prefer the bread to taste nicer, then it will be better to take the plain white bread. Hope I answered your questions.
